Wink Herpa 787-851 NWA pic - New model

Here comes the first pic of the New 1/200 Herpa 787-851
from Northwest Airlines.
The plane is registered N787US.
But if the aircraft exist at 1/200 scale, will it ever exist at 1/1 scale with the possible merge between NWA and Delta ?

Northwest Airlines and Delta Airlines are merging.... and after merging they are going to use "Delta Airlines".... so in another words, no more Northwest Airlines? I just flew to Japan on Northwest Airlines, and now it going to be gone with a new name... so NWA 787 is not going to roll out ??

What at terrible thing to see the nortwest name go. I think that they should keep the livery, as I believe that it is nicer looking on NWA aircraft than the delta logos but maybe this will allow both to survive, and open up PDX once again to be an asian gateway for Delta.

I am not keeping track of 787 orders. Does NWA have any outstanding orders for the 787? If so, I wonder if Delta will honour all existing 787 orders?

NWA has ordered 18 787-800 + 50 options so it is quite significant Randy.
With this quantity I won't be surprised if Delta will convert the 50 options to replace their ageing 767.

OOOF! That is significant! Well, it's certainly too soon to know what livery will grace those planes.

Thanks for the welcome back, Moin and LeFreak.
