Default Faulty JetX Qantas Q400 model
Hey guys

I recently bought a JetX Qantas Q400 model from KSO Airline Models and I was shocked to find out that the props, landing gear and horizontal stabliizer were broken off. Also, an antenna which was supposed to be on the top of the fuselage is also missing. I've tried contacting KSO but they dont seem to reply my email. Has anyone encountered this problem too?

I had the same exact problem. They were prompt in sending me a replacement at no charge.

that's very bizare... i always loved dash-8s/Q400s too bad they dont have any in any livery that really appeals to me

Wow. I didn't know that these models had this problem. I guess I was really lucky that mine caem in one piece.

Maybe this is a "crash-landing" version??? JK

I love this model. Can't wait for a SAS to be released!

I had this same problem. The plastic cover on top squishes the blades and that is how they bend. I had the same thing happen to one I bought recently.

Hey guys, I received the replacement today and unfortunately, the prop is broken and the landing gear twisted. KSO has since closed down. Will it be possible for me to contact Jet-X with regards to a replacement?

With all these problem I think the faulty is JetX.
THey must rework their quality products and get an efficient quality controllers.

I have experienced contacting DW's "customer services" for request some replacments and got a good response. Try the following links and get some help there

He emailed and demaded a replacement model. We do not stock replacement models. We kindly offered, at our cost, to ship out replacement parts free of charge. Instead we got a nasty email demanding a replacement model and anything less is unacceptable.

Therefore he'll get nothing.

As a side note - all future Q400 models have all new blister pack designs (that was a design flaw) starting with the South African Q400.

well I've ordered one Qantas Q400 and I hope it arrives in good shape !
Just to know that it may be damaged sends shivers down my spine, and
I don't know if I'll be able to sleep !
