Eeeesh!! You can reallllly see the difference, especially on the tails, between the Hogan and the GJ200 Air Canada models.

The Hogan is also very nice, it obviously has less detail than the Gemini, but if I hadn't put the picture with the two together, probably nobody would have noticed that the tail was too dark on the Hogan.
Also, to be fair, I think that the Gemini tail is too light |

Yes I know, I was the first one to reply to your thread: Quote:
Now that I have the Hogan though, I love it. I guess if I could buy only the vertical stab from Skymarks then I'd make the switch. The cockpit windows aren't as bad as I thought. Which one do you prefer Freak? Skymarks or Hogan? |

If you get the vertical stab from RS/SM, it is going to really show on the HG aircraft. Why not just leave the two as it is, or get the RS/SM and upgrade it with rotating engines and detailed wings.. |

I've never really been impressed by this AC livery. Thats not even a powder blue or aqua blue, don't know what to call it.

I know what you mean with the mint green, but it's funny because in pictures it's barely noticeable, like in this picture for example:
![]() The color of the fuselage on these two are identical, I see no trace of green on the 777 |

I know, but look at it in the last pic where the 77W is displayed with the A380. I know its probably the lighting but in that picture the color looks yuck. They could have been more imaginative with the livery.

Believe me Moin, you need to see them to admire them, especially the Boeing 777-300ER, to really now how wonderful the colours are.

Now thats Powder Blue, which makes me wonder of HG got the colors right. Either way I'm still getting the model.

Well those colours are definitely not on the HG....when you get it, you will see a greenish hue (depending on the light I guess), but with the RS/SM the colour is close to the real AC not dependant on any light issues..

It's a 777-200LR
It's a shorter version of the 777-300 I'm no engineer, but apparently the shorter fuselage gives it a longer range. I guess it has to do with weight Last edited by cyhupilot; 03-31-2008 at 08:27 AM. |

The color of the a/c isn't all that but it is unique. One thing about this color is that it makes the a/c stand out when it's around snow. From this angle the color makes this triple 7 look somewhat elegant.
