Hey guys
Just thought I'd introduce myself! Those of you that are over at Wings900 will already recognise me, but to all those that aren't, "Hello". Like quite a lot of my fellow W900 members recently, I've decided to jump ship from 1:400 scale and into 1:200. Couple of reasons for this. Firstly being that it will slow down my spending habits as there isn't as much or as many big releases that interest me, there's just enough to keep my hobby reasonable yet still great fun. I haven't made a complete change though, as I will only be collecting Diecast 1:200's, such as Inflight 200, Gemini 200's and Phoenix 200's. I already have 6 models on order, which are listed below. Phoenix 1:200 - Boeing 787 ANA Colours Phoenix 1:200 - Boeing 787 house Colours Inflight 200 - BA 747 "Union Jack" Inflight 200 - BA 747 "India" Inflight 200 - BA 747 "Hong Kong" Gemini 200 - Air Canada A321 Expect to see me regularly around this neck of the woods. Oh - and if anyone has a Phoenix Thai 737 or a Qantas 737, please let me know as I REALLY want one ![]() Look forward to talking with you all, Thom / RiSsQ ![]() |

I hopefully won't run out of space. I had a bit of a buying spree with 1:400 recently, which involved 30 planes in 6 weeks. Hopefully i won't be so bad with 1:200, hehe.
Just watching Air crash investigation at the moment :P Retro Air Canada 767 lost both Enginers.... on national Geographic if anyone wants to watch this. |

Yeah you mentionned that you would soon be switching over. Welcome to 1:200 collecting!
![]() The plastic models (Skymarks, Hogan...) don't look that bad. Actually they look pretty good. Obviously not as much detail as diecast, but good nonetheless. You should buy one just to see if you like it. Nothing to lose really... So far in 1:200 I have
