Thanks for the compliments. I'm in college and don't have a whole lot of time to draw these days, but my spring break is next week and I hope to finish up the Continental 737 then. If I do, look for a thread with the finished product in about two weeks!

Well that'd probably be a little easier to do than your last request of Peter Max. But if I start something new over the summer, it won't be another 737, sorry! Possibly a 757-200 with winglets or a black meatball 727-100. |

I use Prismacolor colored pencils. They have pretty soft leads so the color lays down nicely and you can blend colors to get a desired result. The lead breaks easily though so I use harder lead colored pencils for colored detail like the flag and N-number.

Trying to replicate the bare metal would definitely be a challenge! But it could easily turn into a nightmare if I couldn't get it to look right. But we'll see.

And here: http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...t-drawing.html I'm pretty sure my next drawing will be either a Continental 757-200 with winglets or a Continental old colors 727-100. But I won't be able to start another until summer! Last edited by Mike777; 03-02-2008 at 06:20 PM. Reason: typo |

I got my GJ CO 737 from houseofhobbies.com. 48.95 is a good price for a 1:200 GJ, I haven't seen anything below about 47.
