I already had the white top, and received today the bare metal. I also received the Delta DC-9 today. My first widget model!!! Despite what the detractors say about the IF200 727s, I love mine. I love the two DC-9s I have of theirs, too. I'm debating on whether to buy the Eastern bare metal DC-9.

I only wish they made Delta, but I've said that before. I was thinking about that on the commute home tonight. Kinda sad that I only have one Delta widget, given how much I flew on those planes. Amazing the 727 is unavailable. Thank goodness the L-1011 will soon be. I'm tempted to buy two.

Which IF200 727 are you about to click the "Add to cart" button for?

I want these three in CO "meatball": 727, DC-10, DC-9. What else did they fly back then? I don't know too much about their fleet back then.

CO planes that existed in meatball colors (not including CO Express):
707 720 727-100, -200 737-100, -200, -300 747-100, -200 DC-9-10, -30 DC-10-10, -30 MD-80 A300 That's what I got off the top of my head, I might be forgetting something. |

Thanks, Mike. I'd enjoy having a 737, MD-80 and A300 for CO, too. I'd also like to have an Eastern A300.

The A300 and MD-80 are way underrepresented in 1:200. Thankfully, that's about to change for the MD-80 with the Jet-Xs, hopefully someone will do a decent A300 soon, or maybe Herpa can put their mould to good use. (I think all they've done so far is Iran Air... psh c'mon..) |

Qatar, I'm with you too... NOTHING LIKE THE 727!!
Hopefully we will see some Mexicana colorful tails and an American 722 with the current livery. The American 722 was the first plane I ever flew in, when I was only 6 days old! IF200 seriously needs to be careful. A year ago they were pretty much the only all metal manufacturer in 1:200, now they are facing some tough competition! aViatOr

I've had this model on my want/wish list off and on for a while now. It's on there for two reasons: 1) I like the livery and 2) It's the Empress of San Francisco. San Francisco being my favourite city. Let me know what you think of your model when you get it. I'm sure you'll like it.

I'll be sure to let you know B773ER when I receive it... I'm sure it'll be one of my favorites... oh hell, they're ALL my favorites ![]() BTW, I can see why San Francisco is your favorite city... what's not to like about it... I lived there for some years about 20 years ago and loved it.

I lived there from 12/92 to 06/06 and want to move back once the housing and lending markets come back so I can sell my condo up here. I'm anxious to get "home."
