Question I have some DAC general questions!

Hello Guys,

These questions might bore some of you, but I really need some answers.
1. I've been playing around with "my collection" for a while now and it certainly is the best way to keep the collection updated and manage.
But I do I see other members collection? Tried many different ways, but couldn't figure it out unless someone posted link to their collection on the signature.
2. What if there are no such model in the database of "search & add" in my collection? What should I do?
I've recently got a Skymarks NORTHWEST B747-200F NC as a gift. Since it isn't listed on database,
I can't add or I can't even tell wether it's a corporate or regular release. It is my first Skymarks.
Upper deck windows and main deck door are printed too high, but besides that the model is not too bad...

Please let me know... Thank you for your help.

I also have another question about "Malaysia Mail Order" models.
I've mentioned on a different thread, that I've ordered Malaysia models, by mail order, but it has been like 4 days, but my CC still hasn't been charged which means the items are not yet shipped. Do you have how long do they usually take to be processed?

Jetcollector is one the most trusted retailer if you ask me. You can easily tell that my location is in Korea and they are in west coast of the US. They are pretty fast in packaging and shipping. Maybe because, I've only ordered the ones are "in stock" items, but you should send them an email again. The person who normally answers is Pam. "Back ordered or Out of stock" models could take forever and it's all same for all retailers unless the description says when they will be restocked. If you want to swich the ones that are out of stock with the ones in stock, you should be getting the models soon. It's really hard for any of us to answer when the retailers are going to have the out of stock items back in stock.

Btw, Jetcollector site is pretty much accurate from my experiences. They sometimes send wrong items I've heard, but replaced it right away. But, it's strange that you've not heard from them. Don't get me wrong guys, I do not have any personal relationship with Jetcollector what so ever. Strictly from the experience and giving you some sort of information I might have.

Dave and Pam of Jetcollector are more than likely enjoying their Thanksgiving Holiday. I would think you should hear something from them this week though if they received your inquiry.

1. Click on "My Collection" and then click on "Other" (second last icon from left to right) at the top of your collection page, where you will see the pie chart of your collection breakdown. You will only see others' collection only if they add and update their collection - both on DAC and W900.

2. Another option you have is to add your model as a "custom" model. To do this, click on "My Collection" and then click on "Custom Manager" (4th from the top on the right)...and then click on "Add a Custom Model" just above the table.

The time frame depends on the availability of the model at the distributor. If the distributor is also out of stock for that particular model, then the it will take longer. But one thing is for sure, you don't have to worry if you order from JetCollector. They are easy to work with and have very good reputation.

All that stuff with backorders, preorders, Out of stock, really just confuzed me. Gladly we have now dealt with the problem, the out of orders models has been changed to models in stock and some from November pre-order releases, oh btw My orders has the MU A346 2010 Shanghai Expo 1/400 included in the package. If only you could hear me giggle*
Good to hear that you've solved the problem. Enjoy the models!

Thank for the info! The model I would like to add really isn't a custom model, so I guess I'll have to post it on sticky as collection addition.
