Inflight 200 Alitalia DC 10.... anybody get theirs yet? If so, where? How does it compare to the LE DC 10?

In what way? Too big? Too small? Wrong location? Incorrect font?

I think the technical term used was 'squished'

The model Alitalia fuselage titles above the windows appear to be squished when compared with the airliners dot net photos.....

Just got mine. For some reason, compared to the Inflight LE DC-10's, this model seems alot shorter. Not sure why. I need to actually measure to confirm, but just by looking at it, it seems very different.

I know people were talking about wrong size Alitalia title, but its livery is just too sexy to pass... I still don't have it yet, still considering... What should I do?

I received mine about a week ago.... and fell in love instantly!!! don't mind the titles, maybe they're incorrect (which I didn't noticed it), but the livery is just awesome... you won't regret it!

Yeah.... the titles do seem to be "squished".

Not getting it is a bad idea though... There won't be another one.
I think I'll buy it.

Other things I noticed:

Engines are painted white on the real thing as opposed tobare metal on the model
The letters NA are added on the vertical stabilizer of the model, butthey are not there on the real plane

White engines? Where did you see this??

The letters, well, did you look at some more pictures?
The letters were not there on the 10s when delivered, but were added later on - around the early 80's I think.

You are absolutely right, I should have looked at some more pictures. The engines seemed white to me on the picture that I posted, but I guess the lighting played tricks on me.

Btw, if there's something to nitpick - appart from the high cheatline and titles - then I'd pick the stabilizers.
Alitalia had all white stabilizers not only on their DC-8 (correctly done by IF200) but also on their 10s, like I-DYNA.
