Default So ... where are they?

In the US ... when a movie studio knows their film is gonna tank, they refrain from showing it to critics so they can get some suckers to see it before word-of-mouth kills all box-office receipts.

So I really hope that this is NOT the reason for the lack of good, clear photos of the new inflight DC9s.

Someone has got to have some photos of these ... so where are they?

If you are speaking of the Inflight 200 DC-9's. I found a website for you. Even though the company is frowned upon http://www.flightminiatures.com/Die-...t_fleetFS.html

Just click DC-9 and there they will be with good views. They look realistic to me.

It's too bad that no one can get the nose correct, SMAC's looks pregnant and Inflights looks like a birds beak

the DC-9 was a real bastard to get even looking like the original ... ours was OK and by no means perfect. But it also didn't coast $69 US

The nose I can deal with (shape) but any photo of a DC-9 would show that the shape of the roof and windows are wrong.

an extreme disappointment

Agreed, don't get me wrong, I love every one of my SMAC DC-9's, I am not that picky and you are correct, I didn't pay anywhere near $69 for those

Maybe Inflight will fix those problems before the final release?
(or make adjustments on the next batch)

don't sweat it ... at 400 scale these things are incredibly difficult to make right ... we did the best that we could.

1:200 scale on the otherhand shouldn't have these issues

regardless, I think that this is the problem. The fuselage crease and hence everything else is TOO low on the model

this sucks ... because I had high hopes for these

I agree, it's not so much the nose as the cockpit roofline! Looks like it got hit on the forehead with a bat!

What a disappointment. I'll pass on this model form Inflight.

Ill still have one.. if you lot wont they should end up heavily discounted.. theres a lot worse about in the marketplace, you only have to look at Corgis effort on a 1/32 Hurricane.. ... just hope we will see a few DC9 European liveries...
