I didn't know the 747-400 had been discontinued...
I know there are two versions, the old B-huj version with wrong wing and stabs colour and the later B-hui with correct wing and stab colour...do you know sth we common mortals don't? I have all of them except 772, which has the green belt a bit too low. I can wait, it's not a limited edition model! I would say my least favourite is the above mentioned 772 and then the 747-400 B-huj, all the rest are nice, no favorites. |

Actually, I am not so sure whether the B747-400 has been discontinued or not. Someone told me that they were and also when you check the CXcitement Online Shop, the model 1:200 model isn't there. I sure hope they haven't been discontinued. Can anyone confirm? =)

Both the 1:200 of CX 744 B-HUI & B-HUJ which are wrong on the upper deck emergency handle "vertical bar", it was also on the wong side, closer to the right edge, same mistake was made in the 1:400
http://www.brinkley.cc/PhotoData/Hog...8/990998_d.jpg However, for the 1:400 B-HOX upper deck emergency handle "vertical bar" was correct, closer to the left edge. http://www.brinkley.cc/PhotoData/Hog...2/000672_d.jpg Last edited by Diecaster; 05-06-2006 at 06:47 PM. |

Cathay Pacific has placed orders for 777-300ER's, so hopefully we'll be seeing these models too... a CX with non Rolls-Royce engines is yet to be seen in 1/200!!!
Besides, I would not hesitate to get all three special livery 747s in 1/200, unfortunately, they have never been produced by Hogan! |
