my airport in 1:200
Hi
i built an airport in 1:200. it is about 3 x 6 meters big.
here are some pics
go to my site www.safetycards.at.tp and then visit my FLEET
and the press in the rectangles with white boarders. (I cannot display the pics on the first site)!
if you dont see these rectangles just try to click above the writings, and the photos will be shown.
for info:
I have around 40 diff. 1:200 planes from herpa, schuco and hogan only.
by the way, this airport is for sale (excl. the models of course ;-)
i'm living nearby vienna/austria.
all the best,
Daniel

WOW! You really made a great work, very nice tower. Will you continue to build other buildings or just this tower? Once again great work!

Dizhu is the man!
Hey, why don't you post a picture with lights on...should look interesting.
Have you expanded to terminal buildings yet? so far I have only seen your control tower...and looks promising.

Questions:
1) why do you have so many doors? (i mean, the room you put the airport seems to lead to so many places...)
2) do u usually display this airport on the floor? no kids, pets? (my cat would godzilla my display....)
Comments:
1) amazing way to show-off a 1/200 collection, I have a bunch myself and not sure if they add-up to 40, but it's close coz I lost count a year or so ago, lucky for my they are mostly wide-bodied passenger jets...
2) Are you SURE SURE the CX 777-300 is ER?!? I don't think they have a model of that particular type yet, although you could trade it's wings with a Hogan (Air France 777-300ER) and would look right, althought CX has none in its fleet yet.

Answers:
1) This is in my cellar a room. I'm just 17 and living with my parents and my brother still at home. Yeah I know, I'm living in a very big house....thats why we have so many doors in the cellar ;-)
A to your comments:
2) Sry...this is a normal Cathay 773 not ER!
Hope could help you,
Daniel
