Default Herpa question

I have been a 1/400 collector for years now but I am newbie in 1/200. However, I consider to add a large scale Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 to my collection.

I understand that the original Lufthansa Modell Edition is hard to come by so what are the differences compared to the standard model? Has the standard model "Niedersachen" transparent cabin windows and detailed engines, too?

Thanks a lot!

No transparent cabin windows except the cockpit. No detailed engines. The standard model is less detailed.

The Lufthansa Model Edition/Herpa Premium Series are absolutely not comparable to the standard models.

If you want a big model - take a standard.

If you want a great model - take a Premium Series.

Thanks a lot for the info. I think I will concentrate on the Lufthansa Modell Collection and look for a truly white one on Ebay.
