Default Diecast Metal 1:200 models?

New to the 1:200 scale. Other than Inflight, which other model manufacturers use metal for the whole aircraft ?
Is Hogan a good manufacturer ?
Who are one of the better online retailers ?
Cheers

Hogan has some metal diecast models but not all of them are made of metal diecast. You may also want to try PH and HE B727s. Hope this helps! Cheers!

HI
diecast 1/200 scale is great scale for large airliners..you can also get some
1/200 accessories and figures.
I have found that inflight have a superb finish,i also recommend western
for those older props.herpa and hogan diecast are pretty good and are
cheaper i would steer clear of anything made of white metal as they do
last the course.

good hunting

Phoeninx is also offering the 727-100 mould (probably the Herpa one) in interesting liveries (TWA - United - Pan Am).

Don't know about the quality however.

Quality - IHMO for the money they are A1... well the Pan Am and TWA - United still flying across the water... They compare favourably with the Herpa 727's (should do - same mould..)

Pan Am I would give 9/10 for as its all polished metal, the TWA 8/10 as the wings are grey.. most probably correct but look like a bit of an afterthought.. but could be biased as Pan Am models are hard to get hold of in 1/200 unless you have very deep pockets..

As to who is a good manufacturer, Mr (or Mrs..Miss..) Sunnyskies.. hasnt said what types (or how deep their pockets are.. ) they are after as that will definitely depend on who you buy from...

Favourite is Inflight... but bang for buck there are some superb little models around...(Modelpower thread....)

That my friend, would be plastic. All Boeings and Airbuses by Hogan or Herpa (same mould anyway) are all-plastic. Only the Hogan Concorde, Caravelle, Connie and some other props are made of metal.
Did you see the Rovos Air prop by Herpa? it fits the African theme I guess you are interested in.
