I've seen the City of Everett in person, and you guys have hit the proverbial nail on the head.
The only difference is that your model looks too clean! The COE is a very dirty and faded paint job. You'll have to "age" it a bit before you sell it to collectors!

Hi Vector,
In my opinion, you guys wanted to give it that "just came out of the factory" (or rollout) look, so if you leave it completely clean it will just take us back to the 60´s when this history making plane made its debut. If you give it a dirtier fadded look, it will look as how that Jumbo looks today (a bit sad, doesn´t it?), so I would prefer the early days when it captured all the glory!. If you ever consider doing a B747-200 model with GE engines, pleeeeeease consider doing the Transamerica Airlines scheme!. Regards, Marco. |
