I can't wait for this to come out in a North Central and Allegheny CV 580! Woo Hoo, that will be sweet!

In hoping for a 580 as well, but in Aspen colors!! I'm no Convair expert, but it appears Herpa would have to mould new wings and add a larger tail to represent the 580.

Default Cv 580

Both Frontier liveries and all four seasons of Aspen would be great. Along with North Central and Allegheny. Bring'em on !

Steve Aspen's convairs were many 440's of Delta. The 580 was just an engine retrofit much like DC-8-71/73s. Look at Airliners.net and Aspen Airways you will see the cheatline of early Aspen piston Convairs were CV-340/440 which didn't have many visable diffences to the one shown here.

Very true, but it appears that in order to mould the Allisons, Herpa would have to redo the wings. The exhaust is very different.

True! Same as any DC-8-60 series too. Same applies for the CV-580. But overall not very many changes would have to be made. I would love to see it!
