Default Hogan Polar Air Cargo 747-400F

I saw one in the Narita airport on display, but it is not for sale. Does anyone know where I can purchase one?

Hmmm, ok. How about does anyone have a link to the manufacturers website? I have looked all over for a Hogan Airplane model website with no luck. It is like they don't exist.

Thanks!

Haha, Bueller. Ferris Bueller... good movie! Sorry, I can't help with your question though.

Thanks for the help, I will check out that link!

I just wish I could contact Hogan directly somehow. It seems like they have no website, or address, or telephone number. What a strange company. For as big as they are, you would think they had a physical address someplace.

The reason I would like to contact them is this: I know they have made at least one Polar 747-400F and I would like to see if they would make another. I can't believe that they would have only made one copy of this airplane. It was a great model, the turbine blades spun, the cockpit windows were clear, and it had the landing gear that could be removed.

Thanks in advance....

Well, I want one that has a stand and can be used as a desk model, so I would rather not have anything too much smaller than 1:200.

If you don't mind resin models check out the one by Atlantic Models:

http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID47939...216-Polar.aspx

They are kinda pricey, but that's the only Polar models that i know. No landing gear tho and is a one piece thing

Cheers,
Larry

Man that brings back memories, i was working for a loading company here in DTW, we were loading stamped side panels of cars onboard a Polar Air 747, the lower cargo hold's automated track was inop so we were pushing the skids in by hand and i stepped in a hole in the floor and grabbed a raw steel edge of a car body and took off a couple of fingers. Its all good now, a great doctor fixed me up. One things for sure, inside of a gutted whale is very big! It was huge in there without all the seats and stuff!

Because I fly that plane for that company.

Thanks for the tip on the Atlantic model company. They look pretty nice, maybe I will have to just get one of those.

Thanks again guys!
