Wow, last announcement an ATR-72, this time two ATR-42. The regionals are coming in 1:200. Great news!!! The other models are very interesting, too.

Hapag LLoyd's old colors are a true beauty and classic! Are the Convair and ATR-42 going to be all metal? I guess the B737-500 is a plastic release. Is that right?

Herpa might be giving Inflight200 a run for their money. These new all metal models look pretty darn good (although I haven't actually seen one in person yet... the reviews seem quite favorable). That Convair Swissair looks like a cold beer at the end of a hot day.

Very very nice, as I said love the DAT and love the Swissair & Hapag Lloyd. I hope they do that ATR-42 in Pan Am and American Eagle. Would love the 72 in Olympic Aviaton.

Unhappy plastic blades?

I would be willing to bet that the blades on the ATR-42 will be plastic. Sadly.

I believe the Lufthansa 727 is all metal like the past ones... but I think the prop blades on the ATR42 are plastic (i hope i'm wrong, however).

It matters to me. I'm only interested in all die-cast models. Not a mixture of metal and plastic.

As far as I know, most of the "all metal" models have some plastic parts. Even in case of the famous Herpa LH727 the side-engines are made of plastic.
Usually props, engines, gears and in case of Hogan also the stabilisers are plastic. That's a tribute to the price, by trying to keep production-costs on a feasible level.
There may be some more expensive models like Western from the UK, which are entirely made of metal (pewter), except the tyres...

..the antennas are made of plastic....

But yes, you are right. These are entire metal. But don't forget, they are doble in price compared to Herpa "all metal".

For those collecting this scale for the most part. The Swissair CV-440 looks like a nice match with the DC-8-62 of In-Flight.
