Default Hogan Dash-8

I just got two awesome models in 1:200. These are made by Hogan for ANA/A-Net precision models. They are all-metal with rubber tires. I really wonder, why Hogan or Herpa doesn't make more use of such a great mould. There would be so many opportunities such as Qantas Link, BA City Flier, US Airways, Austrian Arrows and many more. Anyway, just wanted to share some pics with you.

Very nice. Are the fane blades metal? Do the wheels roll? Where can i buy these models? And I agree with you, why can't they issue this model in a Qantas, BA, US Airways livery (or even in something like an Air Tahiti livery)?

These are great models. I think they have done six types todate but keep losing track as I pack them straight into boxes. I think as an "exclusive" model they would be little chance of them ever taking off from Japan and gracing USA and European liveries...... Great detail even down to panels and grill vents, etc. Very expensive to buy. I let a friend get mine in Japan where I save £15.00 on the price they sell for in the UK. Get them for about £22.00 inc post. Sometimes I put them on my website for sale but only on rare occasions.

these were released by Hogan about a year ago. There are 5 of them. They are named after the flowers painted on the tails (in scripti-font behind the wing)

They are of metal construction, w/ plastic props and are of the same high-quality as their YS-11s.

I believe that this mould faces the same restrictions as their YS-11 which explains why you haven't seen any non-Japanese carriers.

Too bad JAC has -400s and Air Amakusa has a -100
