Hope everyone's holiday seasons were great. Thoughts & Prayers go out to those victims/families of the Tsunami disaster.
I'm wondering if a 747SP cast is in the works and/or minds of any of the die cast plane manufacturers? This certainly would be a big seller to say the least. I have a Flight Minatures: American Airlines one and I believe a company called Platz makes an unmarked one for model builders. But nothing compares to a well-made die cast! And I can just see a Braniff 747SP "Ultra Orange" in my new 1/200 scale fleet! Anyway; I hope its a Great New Year for the 1/200 die cast jet scene. "Later" Joseph |

I'd love a China Airlines, CAAC, Saudia, Braniff,Pan Am.....oh hell every SP scheme theres was, op or not. The SP will always be my favorite aircraft.......tied with the Super VC-10 of course.

Yes; there are indeed some great 747SP schemes to be made. Since you like United Airlines, I'm sure that 80s United color scheme on a 747SP would be a must. I have a Gemini one which looks fantastic.

I actually prefer the Gray scheme, been waiting for Gemini to to one but they don't do much with their SP mould!
