Default New 'INFLIGHT' exclusives

Has anyone else noticed the 'new exclusive' models from Inflight for Aerojets which are the Equatoriana 'Sun Jungle Scheme' Boeing 707 and the USAF TC-18 'Training KC-135' models?

I've got to have that USAF Boeing TC18/KC-135 for my collection. It will go great with all my WESTERN MODELS military aircraft.

Anyway go check out the paint scheme on AEROJETS web-site.

later. winged racer

Is this a Tampo painted model or a decaled on the Ecuatoriana? I wonder when it will be available for delivery. There is nothing on the Jetstream future realeases site.

The blurb at the Aerojets site states 240 models being produced - gotta be tampo at that volume.

I saw that, 240 is the same amount made of the Braniff DC-8s.

Default I dunno

I got a blurb from Aerojets and when I went on their web-site lo and behold if there isn't not one but TWO exclusives!

As soon as Mark gives me a call and gives me more info on those models I will re-post again here on DAC. winged racer

Default Ecuatoriana B707-320B "Sunbird"

Hello,

The Ecuatoriana Sunbird will be Tamp printed. The cost is more in comparison of the other 707's because of the many different colors and the amount of different tamp prints needed. They have started production so hopefully they will be arriving soon.
We will be offering them to retailers who carry the InFlight models so you can contact your favorite retailer and purchase one from them if you like.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Mark

Tucano,

We plan on doing more but I am going to wait and see how well the Ecuatoriana does first. We have been thinking about maybe the Avianca in the 747 or 707 as well as the Varig but we will have to wait and see. We will definately concentrate on Latin American Carriers.
Thanks for your kind words, we really like that Varig 763 O/C and are happy to hear that people liked them.

Take care,

Mark

This is Great to hear! If this one does well, I hope you do all of the other Ecuatoriana jugle jets. All of them were unique and beautiful works of art in their own right. As for the Avianca, the B707 would be nice in the older all red colors and the B747 in the red/white tail colors.

I have already contacted my usual Inflight retailed and put in a request for that Ecuatoriana bird.

Default why no picture?

Just curious as to why there is no actual picture of this model? Why the drawing only?

Dino,
We will have a picture available as soon as we receive a production model. We were going to produce a decaled sample but we felt it was better to wait for a tamp printed version. Also, because of the amount of tamp prints cost was an issue for producing a sample.

Sorry guys. We had done the Varig 763 Old Colors as well as the Aero California DC-9-30 in 1/400 Scale. I apologize for the confusion
