Hello Everybody; I'm new to the forum.
Glad to see there are others into this hobby as much as I am.I normally collect 1/400 scale jetliners, but I just purchased my first die-cast InFlight 1/200 scale jet (Braniff "Ultra Brown" DC-8). Hope this company produces 727s, DC-10s, and CV-880s & 990s. Is anybody familiar with the Skyline 1/200 scale jets from England? Cool looking but kinda expensive. Hello Otavio, Hello Steve.
Thanks for the welcome and the info. I hear InFlight might do a Braniff "Calder Scheme" DC-8. Any truth to that rumor? Being a Braniff fan; that would be "A Must" for my collection. I'm hoping they do a Braniff "Big Orange" 747 as well. I've got the Schabak 1/250 scale one. But the detail does not compair to the new 1/200 & 1/250 scale die-cast jets that have recently been coming out. The future looks bright (and costly- !) for us Jet Collectors with the new stuff thats out there."Good Evening & Chat With You Later" Joseph |

Hello Sascha; thanks for the links to viewing the Braniff "Calder". What A Fantastic Jet! Needless to say, I must get one of those for my Braniff Fleet/collection.

Hi my name here is winged racer and welcome aboard. I have a large collection of WESTERN MODELS mainly because they also make military as well as some really different Russian models such as the TU-114 and the AN-22 both models which are absolutely beautiful.
I too have ventured into the 'Inflight' club and now own only the Pan American 707 and the DC-8 as well as the newly arrived PAN AM 747. I look forward to these new release's but like most here have to limit what I purchase because now-a-days I have to watch where the dollars go. Again welcome and happy collecting. Many members here at DAC are very knowledgeable and informative and will gladly guide you in the right direction. winged racer. |
