Any chances of the long -63 Series please?

Also, on another topic, I reckon that Inflight will do well with the A340-600 Series - the plastic models so far available are awful!

Cheers!

Nice models.....I am a little disappointed on them not having overwing exit markings as they should. Also then there is the problem with N1807's registration. Not a deal killer but something a little research could have fixed.

I wouldn't be getting either of these models anyways, but how did Inflight forget a detail as major and obvious as the overwing exit path markings?

Nothing really other than N1807 was never painted brown. It was burgundy and was a -CF with a freight door. N1809E was the chocolate brown one.

seems like braniff had no use for the cargo door...

I know it looks brown but it's not. It's a dark burgundy and is commonly mistaken for the CB.

Ultra Colors Era (1978-1982):

Beginning in 1978, the two-tone scheme was replaced with a selection of "ultra"

one aircraft was painted Sparkling Burgundy (727 N404BN).

Ultra Colors:

BM = Metallic Blue MB = Mercury Blue
BU = Burgundy PG = Perseus Green
CB = Chocolate Brown SB = Sparkling Burgundy
LB = Corvette (Light) Blue TC = Terra Cotta

Sascha,

Actually in the pics you posted from Anet you can see the window layout is different under the "B" and "ni" than that of the model. That is due to the cargo door on this plane.

As I mentioned it is not a deal killer but a little research goes long way. These aren't $25 DW models...so I personally expect a little more. I don't think that it's a lot to ask.

chris my name is mike sanchez 'winged racer'. Do you know if Braniff came about all their DC-8-62's as direct purchase's thru Douglas or did they 'inherit' them thru the Panagra purchase. thx

Mike,

It's kind of a yes and no answer. N1803,N1804,N1805,N1806 and N1807 were all ordered by Panagra. However they were never delivered to Panagra. Braniff took the delivery slots and delivery of the aircraft new to them.
