I was uncertain about this one but after seeing it now she sure is sweet and how can I resist. Vector 1....Any thoughts about developing stands for these models? Space is going to become an issue eventually.

It's more than a bit garish! I prefer the standard Braniff livery.

On another topic, is it planned to make a DC8-63 version of the DC-8 as the wings of the -62 and -63 are identical?

Cheers!

Yes, that would definitely be something. They even use the same type of underwing mounted engine pylon & nacelle..

Luv that many-legged cow or whatever the heck that beastie on the engine nacelle is supposed to be .

I made my own version years ago by hand-painting an old "H e l l e r" brand plastic kit that originally came with UTA decals. Pop Art is Boss.

I know I may be getting picky but maybe it can be corrected before it's produced to have the most accurate depiction possible.

On the right hand side the blue area on the front top, scoops down more, covering the top part of the front right exit door. See picture comparison.

Also will the undeside of the wings be painted with the appropriate graphics?

Default Prototype

Hi Jjorge,

Many thanks for your posting, this is just a hand finished prototype of this model so that we have something to show to the manufacturers in China. We do value all imput regarding the models and there are a couple of changes that will be done before you see it on the shelf.

With regards under the wings I have attached a photo sorry about the quality but it shall have all the correct markings on it.

I hope you enjoy.
