Default Risesoon New product/sample 1/200

I saw the real model (first sample) yesterday, it is really very nice. The silver color are much better on the real model than in the pic.

Hi KHH
Thanks a lot for sharing with us this news :-)
Two questions ...
1) When those models will be avaible ?
2) Will the american - europe imported models have the corrogard marks on the wings ?

Ethan.

WOW! That's spectaular! I've held out on buying the StarJets 200 scale models, as I've been waiting for wide-body planes, and now this! AWESOME!!

Is this going to be the only BA release by Risesoon, or will they do world tails and/or Landors?

These look nice, but are these gonna be more releases that aren't available to the public like the ANA and others KHH has posted? I hope not.

KHH, thanks for the preview, these are beautiful.

I especially like 2., 3. and 4. Will any of these be available in the U.S.? Do you know at what price and where?

One observation, it looks as thought the exhaust area on the RR engines is a little too long, should be a little shorter maybe. But then maybe it is the angle of the photo.

All in all, excellent.

Hi all!
Don't worry about! Some of them have been already released in normal way, so everyone can purchase these models.

Just want to tell you that every RS model produced is ordered by someone( the airline, the retailer...etc...)Airline or retailer can ask RS for lower price and not that much detail so that some of you are hard to find models that have corrogard marks on the wings or some other details, etc. The more detail, the more chance to make mistake so the price will rise if there are more and more details. The only thing I am very sure is that Japanese (retailer or airline company)can pay for the details so that if you buy from JP, you will get a highly detailed one. The "simplest" models are usually ordered by US retailer.

I think this time the corrogard will be paint in another color but not sure about the " NO STEPS" marks. I only saw the NWA model and it do has "NO STEP" on the first sample....Or maybe I think you can contact RS directly to buy the models...not very sure how to order or pay ....

The ANA 744 is ordered through Crosswing by ANA for public use only...
The BA, I think, is the first sample and they will send some to BA to check. BA has the right to ordered in final...

Question

These are a nice addition to Risesoon 1:200.

One question on the Rolls 74's: Are the engines on Pratt pylons or the Correct Rolls-type pylons? Cant see from the pboto angle.

Thx,
B2

I like that KLM one.........but I wonder why they did it in the old colours (although there are still a lot flying around like that).........but KLM changed their livery...........so I expected that model-makers did the same.
but she still looks very nice thoug (so does the Northwest)

These are 1/200. Their 1/250 models won't have wheels. Also RS is going to make 1/100 734 and maybe with wheels. I saw the first all white sample last week.

I am now also asking them when will the above will release. I'll post new information as soon as I have.

Question A question

Airplane Super Store is advertising a Skymarks/Risesoon British Airways 777-200 without a picture (http://airplanesuperstore.com/skymarks.htm) is this in the Landor livery, or the Union Flag? Are there any pictures of this one?

I didn't hear about that. The only BA model I saw now is the UnionFlag 747-400, and is just the first sample. About the triple seven, they (will) release China Southern, Alitalia, KLM and Emirates.

In other scales, they have TED A320, Lufthansa Regional ATR-42, Alitalia fleet including MD-11(1/200), A320 Family and ATR. JAS MD-81(For JAS order), Aero Mexico 737-700 w/winglet(1/130), Alaska 737-400(Disneyland, 1/130,this one is really nice and I already saw), Midwest 717-200, Air France CRJ-700, American Eagle ERJ and CRJ, AA757(Sample came out but it seemed AA didn't order finally),DHC-8-400Q JAL(1/100,JAL ordered for inflight).....and more

Talking WOW...Beautiful Risesoon 1/200 Samples!!!

Do you think that they will come out with 1/200 models of the South American airlines, like Aerolineas Argentinas (my favorite South American airline) A340-200 and B747-200, as well as the rest of the Aerolineas Argentinas fleet? Do you think that Risesoon will be making the same 1/200 models for the other South American airlines, such as Varig (my second favorite South American airline), Lan Chile, Aero Mexico, Mexicana?

And, if I understand you, correctly, ALL Risesoon 1/200 models will have the landing gear attached. All the rest of the scales of Risesoon models will NOT have landing gear. Am I right?

I SURE HOPE SO!

PLEASE, let us know when, and through which retailer(s), Risesoon will be selling the Northwest B747-400 (New Colors), Virgin Atlantic B747-400, and British Airways B747-400 (Union Flag) to the American public!

I am going to see if Risesoon has their own website and if they do, I will let y'all know about it!

I AM SO EXCITED!

Thanks so much for sharing the TERRIFIC NEWS!

Happy New Year...

Default Risesoon website 1/200 Models w/ Gear

Either click on the following link or cut and paste it to your web browser:

http://www.risesoon.com.tw

Many, if not all, of the models w/ landing gear are, in my opinion, breathtakingly beautiful and pay much attention to detail.

However, quite unfortunately, I did not come across the same Risesoon photos that KHH had posted on his original message, here at DAC, regarding British Airways B747-400, Virgin Atlantic B-747-400, and NWA B-747-400.

Where did you get those photos, KHH? They are really beautiful. Are they from another website which features these Risesoon models/samples?

Let us know when you have the opportunity.

Thanks, so much...

Gari D Lewis
Austin, Texas

PS I downloaded as many of the other Risesoon 1/200 models/samples w/gear photos to my computer's harddrive...So, if any of you'd like for me to send you a file with some pix, please feel free to drop me a line at mrgaridlewis@yahoo.com and I will send you some pretty cool shots. Thanks, again, y'all! I will enclose just a sample pic in order to entice y'all! :0)

Actually RS has two websites, one in English and one in Mandarin. RS updates their Mandarin website very often so I can get new pics very soon. RS seems to have two retailers in hte US. One is "Daron"(Not sure, correct me if wrong) and I don't know the other. Maybe I will ask RS later.

The BA 744 is ordered by BA and still only in sample. I don't know when will it be released. Also I didn't hear anything about the landor 772!

Not only 1/200 models have wheels but also 1/150 757-200s, and the upcoming 1/100 737-400. Also 1/200 777 will be equipped with turnable fans in the engine (optional, the airline or retailer can ask them to put on and pay a little more.)

For South or central America airlines, I only saw the Aero Mexico 737-700, ordered by the airline. Other airlines didn't place their order so that I think it is hard to see some beautiful south America airlines right now..

The 2nd Risesoon website can be found here:

http://www.airplanemodel.com.tw/
(only if you had install the Chinese Traditional font chracter display)

Then click on the top banner to get in the web page. If you want to look for more aircraft, scroll down to the right bottom then you'll see you're currently on page 1 out of 227. Try the center bottom button to click on you will find the next position (2) or last position (227). Enclosed here are some of the Risesoon photos from this site.

The BA 777 will be available only in the Union Jack scheme and not the Landor scheme...

Default Thanks for all the great info. and pix!

Just some good FYI, I found some individuals on Ebay, who are selling many of the Risesoon models and Skymarks models, 1/200, with the landing gear, at either the same price or a little bit less than online, airline model websites.

I contacted a few of these folks and some are willing to take pre-orders of the Risesoon and Skymarks that have, only, been announced and not produced, as of yet. So, this fact may cut down on some waiting time, y'all think?

Hope that information may may be of some help.

Happy 2004 New Year, Y'all...

Gari in Austin, TX

Oh, beautiful decals on the Aerolineas Argentinas B727-200, 1/400 model...Did you order your decals from EZToyz.com by any chance?

Now, we all know that the new Skymarks/Risesoon BA B-777 will not be available in the Landor livery.
