StarJets Releases
Does anyone have any news on any new StarJets releases. It has been quite a while since they had any.
Months ago I saw a DL 757 as an upcoming release but have seen nothing since.
They have a good product in this scale and I would like to see more.
Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

Last announced and awaiting delivery, had been the Eastern (chrome), Delta (widget), and the British Airways (Botswana) B757.
I keep hoping for a United and the America West special colors B757, specially the OHIO, CARDINALS, ARIZONA, old and new TEAMWORKS and PHOENIX SUNS, but we will see what's next.

Cool, well if Starjets doesn't come out with it. I'll get the Hogan, but will hold out a bit for the Starjets, like their quality better.
Is there a picture of the Hogan anywhere to see?

Try airplanesuperstore.com.
They show a picture of the Cardinals but not the Ohio. Photo is not too good though.
I have the Ohio and by itself is not too bad but if compared to the StarJets 757, the difference is clear. However, if you do not actually compare each one inch by inch the Hogan is not too bad.
I only have the one Hogan, the Ohio 757, the rest are StarJets.

I thought I read somewhere in this forum that Gemini Jets had slowed down new releases of Star Jets because they're busy developing their new 1/250 scale diecasts.

I did not know that the two were affiliated with each other.
Not good news for me since I build the 1/144 and 1/200 scale and collect the 1/400 scale and the 1/200 that are not in kit form such as the 757 and now 707.
I can not afford nor do I want to start a new scale.
I think GJ would be better off if they pursued the 1/200 scale instead of developing the 1/250.
Thanks for the info NYCAAer

I asked a dealer today when to expect the next 1:200 Starjets and he indicated that he heard some serious "hem-hawwing around" that they might not make anymore aircraft.
Can anyone else confirm or deny that rumor??? I will be seriously bummed if that turns out to be true.

yikes
Yikes.....I hope not. I sure do like the models they came out with so far. The rumor I've heard is they are having QC problems with the factories and this is the reason for the delay in new releases.

I don't know where do you guys get your rumors from, but I think I will be very careful with everything that is said out there, especially after all the rants and raves at the 1/400 forum about brands.
Anyway, I will be very sad if SJ200 goes out of business....because i am skeptical about those "experimental" scales they are working with. Probably they should slow down on all that diversification and concentrate a bit more (first it was 1/500...then 1/200 and now....too much!)

The weekend has come and gone. Did you bring back any news of new Starjets, or better yet, did you bring back any new planes?
