Nice airplane Todd,
Is it available in Chrome? I think Jetwings also released a DC-8-61/62/63/71/72 at one time.

Todd,

can you tell us something about accuracy, quality, etc. of the model? Any close-up pictures?

Most important, where can we get one?

Quality is pretty good, for something that is hand painted. The tires are actually O-rings, but it works. Overall it is very good, although the price is steep...
You can get one at http://www.collectorsaircraft.com

will try to take some photos later, as well as of the other jets i've got..

Thumbs up Good models

Average quality and accuracy is good. I have 4 models: 2 880s (Northeast Yellowbir and Alaska) and 2 990s (American and Spantax) since 1995 or 96. The painting is good and don't fade and the white don't turn yellow. The only thing that annoy me is the two ugly screws on the bottom of each model. But I think they are a must have models.

Saudações

Celso

What a great model. I'd like Aeroclassics to do a 1/400 version in chrome. At the rate AA is going lately, I hope all AA models don't become "retro."

Default Convair

Try to see your model before purchase if at all possible. The quality of these models can vary.

Cheers!
