Default Inflight200 VC-140B JetStar United States of America IF1401115

Just got this in from DiecastAirplane.com

Inflight 200
VC-140B Jetstar
Reg# 61-2492, USAF
United States of America
Item: IF1401115
1.200 Scale

This nice new mould by Inflight is pretty cool. This little bugger has the Presidential colors, the real aircraft is at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It was operated by the 89th AW, Andrews AFB as a secondary presidential transport which carried Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan using the call sign "Air Force One"

Here's some pictures:

This is a really nice little model. I got one too, but replaced the nose gear wheel with a little smaller one.

I hope we see more 'corporate' sized jets in 1:200. I would LOVE to see someone do a complete line of Falcon jets.

Still think it will look better without these oversized tubes on the engines

I suggest you to go to Maquettes d'avions - Air-collection - Air collection, it is a French website.
You click on constructeurs, and Dassault.
No English version, if you need any help, let me know ...

Dassault Falcon 5X, 7X and 8X are available and also the prototype of the Falcon 20.
They are not expensive.

I personally have the Falcon 20 that I flew long time ago.

Jean Pierre.

Thank you so much, Jean Pierre. I remembed enough French to navigate the site and order several models.

Like you, I also ordered the Falcon 20. I will probably post pictures here on the forum when they arrive.

Where did you get the wheels from ?
I have about 6 models with split rubber tires that need replacement.

I got a whole bag of different sized tires from Malcom Bees of Bees Hobbies. He used to be very active on the forum. I'm not sure if you can still find him by a Google search, but I believe he makes some of his fine smaller models for sale through ARD. You may be able to track him down that way.

The tires that I used on the Jetstar however were from an old 1/400 scale Gemini 737. They looked like about the right size, and I just had to make an axle out of a thin metal rod.

In your case, you could probably just order some Hogan replacement sets of landing gear, and just use the tires.

nice model, but that front gear look ridiculously oversized (see also Caravelle) - see attached pic for comparison between wheels on front and main undercarriage.

Not to hijack this thread, but here is my solution. Gemini 1/400 737-300 mains and a piece of wire is all it took.

This is a GREAT little model (one of my favorites), and even better with the small modification. I would recommend it very strongly.

Next on the nose gear modification is the JCW EMB-120 Brasilia which is also badly in need of the same treatment.

Thanks for sharing this! I just ordered the 8X, the 5X and 7X were already out of stock, else I would have got those too!

Keep an eye on their website, these models will be back in stock very soon.

I had to wait for my Falcon 20.

I was able to get the 20, 5X and 7X. They are on the way. I must have gotten close to the last ones.
