Default Herpa Premiums "Elementary my dear Watson"

Here's a clue as to Herpa Premiums - either produced or planned. Check the large Herpa Premium DLH display case!! A true case of Sherlock Holmes deduction!

Answers shortly!

Cheers!

Default Case

The display case is the one which was made for the larger Lufthansa Modell Edition a/c, in this case for a 747-400.

Cheers!

These models were planned for the large Modell Edition showcase in the Lufthansa Modell Edition dats:

DC-10
A340-200
Boeing 707-320B
A300 (Appeared)

Don't expect to see these 1990's projected models now! As for new Premiums, unless an airline injects a lot of money into Herpa again, don't expect any new a/c types. As to new "reissues" of the existing moulds, well, no comment! I doubt if we will see any for a very long time. Herpa relies on imported models from China and with the German recession, home produced items will probably not appear!

I work in Germany and know the current difficulties!

Cheers!

Edmund,

I still donīt get it right: is there a picture or a description in this display case that gives hint to the models?

Default Premiums

Nobbe, look at the nose u/c parking lines on the base where the a/c is displayed.

Cheers!

PS These lines are on the showcases made for the large Lufthansa Modell Edition Series. I doubt if the "Premium" cases now sold have similar markings. Also my DLH Modell Edition case is an early example and came with my still un-discoloured Lufhansa B747-400 "Berlin".
