Thumbs down Rise Soon = retarded & bankrupt soon

What a stupid company, 90% out of 100 of the models are not released in public. The Airplane Shop, their so called authorized retailer, carries a minimal amount of models (and more of those nobody-wants-to-buy-them type of 1/250 models -- going by the name of Sky Marks)

I was trying to get ahold of a few good looking 1:200 birds and had contacted them several times on how and where to order them. NO REPLY.

What a pathetic company, are they still doing business?

::: Plus, the only model that they have gut to release to public is the 1/200 A380 (House Color, Virgin, Singapore, etc)

Sometime things are not as easy as we think. I believe Daron is the exclusive distributor of their product; therefore, RiseSoon may very well be forbidden to sell their product behind Daron to anyone in US.

On the contrary. One of my retailers stocks Risesoon models, but as mentioned above they're 1:250 scale - though I'm not 100% sure.

Daron is the US distributor, so I would not know what the deal is in Canada for RiseSoon/Skymark.

Yea, these guys are a laughing joke! I’m looking for the 1/200 models also, and e-mailed them a couple of times and asked how can I obtain some of the 1/200 models. I’m not interested in the 1/259 just 1/200 and never heard a word from them. If you look on their website the have a lot of nice products, but trying to purchase them is a joke.

I must say that I had a very good experience with my SQ-Tropical purchase from Risesoon. Look at this thread:

I had a great experience from Jackie at Risesoon. Worked with me through everything and was able to get all 3 QF special liveries right through him. I noticed they are available in Japan alot more then they are in America as they were in every model shop in great quantities.

Thumbs down

Yea, flooding the stock to the Japanese market so that can jack up the price and make $$.

You don't get a share and prepare to pay jacked up prices on those.

Cargo,

you can say what you want about Risesoon but NOT that they are expensive! Paying 45 $ for a Tropical is not too much!

I just saw their AA B777 on their website that's due out shortly. Really bad- the engine nacelles are WHITE, the colors are way off, & the AA tail logo is too small. Enough said!

I'd like to tell you that the pictures the post on the website are usually First Sample! The AA 777 had produce in very small quantity about one and half years ago. I got one. The engine was in the accurate color so as the size of the logo on the tail. The model came in "real metal color" but not sliver paint, which is difficult to large scale plastic model. Their manager said that the throw away about more than 100 fuselage to make about 100 modles because they want the best.

I know the engines of Risesoon model are always not as good as Hogans, that's because the Airlines that order the model don't want to pay more to get higher quality. So we can see all 1/250 model with no painting on the wing and the back section of the engine is always silver...

As I know, when Risesoon send two samples to an Airline in Taiwan and tell the Airline that the more-detailed model will cost more, the Airline choose the poor-detailed one because they can sell for more bucks in flight.

I have nothing relate with Risesoon but just because I understand Mandarin. I can join the discuss on their discussion board in Mandarin. The above is just want to tell what I know.

Oh well, I still like the Hogan 1/200 scale AA 777 better. Personal preference, I guess.
