Things are getting serious but I'm not sure that the red cheat line is correct in shape.
Any photo to validate this ?
I hope I am wrong ...

I found this one . does the number on the model side indicate a Paris or Farnborough display?

Answered my own question and the chat line seems correct for Le Bourget 1973. Link is to Air Britain site pictures.

This picture is strange, it doesn't seem to be the real aircraft, but a mock up …
… a mock up with only a right wing .
Where are engine 1 and 2 ? and the left main landing gear ?
The right wing looks very "flat" …

Very strange.

JP.

An other site says it is a mockup/bar. https://www.flickr.com/photos/87041388@N05/17215742899

The air britain pic is [i think] correct.

If you really want to buy this model and have something accurate to put in your cabinet, you remove with non acetone nail polish remover the red cheat line and the passenger doors, then you go to the F-DCAL web site and you order re scaled decals for the Concorde French prototype

F-WTSS and F-WTSA share the same cheat line, you apply the cheat line and the passenger doors, it is as simple as that when a manufacturer fails to deliver a correct product.

154 is correct, it was the registration worn by the plane during the Salon de l'Aéronautique at Le Bourget in 1973.

A modification that I could consider …

When seeing your Air Britain photo it's difficult to disagree.
First time I see the Concorde with this cheat line which is not really representative of the prototypes, check out "my" picture.

Why did the manufacturer chose a livery which is so particular ?
And I have to say that very quickly, the aircraft received the AF livery.

Nice, but I may wait to see if JC offers a rollout/prototype version with a drooping nose.

I have to agree. A peculiar choice of livery for sure. That said, I do have another photo of 'SA, taken inflight and on that side. All confirms. The model appears correct to those photos. Odd considering that the BA/AF livery was added quickly after.

Anyhow, the good news is this representative of the earlier part of the project can now be in our displays. Hogan should have done this one years ago. I'm hoping for a crisp execution on the model to match that of Hogan.

Am I correct to say That this is the only concorde wich had factory colours (exept the prototypes of course)??

Then I think the choice is understandable, I would sure like to buy one!

Thumbs up Re: Concorde 02 Prototype F-WTSA

While I applaud those who brought Concorde 02 to this point, I still wish someone would do up a proper version of Concorde 001. A plastic/resin kit in 1:200 would work fine for me in lieu of diecast.

see my post on the concorde pepsi.

Bought a Nitto 1/200 Concorde kit at a toyfair for £10. Although decals are for Japan AL and BA the model is in the shape of the prototype. I am looking at the possibly of using a donor Hogan concorde for wings undercarriage. Then decal as Prototype.

Yes, that was the model I was thinking of, but it is SO RARE and usually so expensive. You made out like a bandit for only £10!!!!!

I would forget the u/c and plunk it on a spare Hogan stand.
