I didn't know Phoenix/Eagle had a A330-200 mould. Hmm...that Gulf Air might be interesting. I've wanted a Gulf Air in diecast for a while.

Here we go again...now a 3rd Vietnam A350.

I wish it were like it used to be when all of the manufacturers did different things. It was more interesting.

But I guess this way at least each camp (Eagle/Phoenix, JC/GJ and IF/JFox) everyone gets what they want from their favorite manufacturer. The lines have been drawn.

JC bring on that Turkish "San Francisco" jet!!!

ME TOO, but I wouldn't mind having the San Francisco jet on the JC mould either!

Given what the Eagle mould looks like I can only agree my friend!

So the Eagle 777-300 mould is not good?

It's ok, not the best. Basically a 1/400 model scaled up to 1/200. Detailing is not as good as JC/Gemini model.

I've heard some say they bought one and liked it. Here is the Eva Air model by Eagle/Phoenix.

Eagle 1:200 Eva Air Boeing 777-300ER "B-16720"

I think Travsuz's description is both fair and accurate. I am one of the members here that have the Eva 'Ribbon' 777-300ER, and I like it a lot. I like the nose shape and cockpit window printing better than the JCW model (personal preference). The GE-90 engines also have a great shape and are a good representation of the GE-90 engine, although they are too small.

On the minus side, the printing is not very detailed, and things like pitot tubes and wing walkways are very light and hard to see. The model comes with silver wheel hubs, but the tires are easy to remove and the rims easy to paint. The wheels also look a little undersized to me.

All that being said, I have the InFlight (Albatros) Eva Air 777-300ER on pre-order to replace the Eagle model in my collection.

I'll take the Cathay 777-300ER no matter who make it.

So the latest JC wing Cathy B777-300 is not ER. I have to check my latest arrivals. Personally I think the Gulf Air A330 is too much paint to the aircraft that makes a messy false impression.

I love the Gulf Air A330, i've just asked on me own thread but i will ask on here too. Is the Eagle A330 likely to be any good or is JCW or Gemini going to do it?

Hard to say, this is their first A330 release. I'm sure JC will probably have this on their production schedule, whether its now or later no one but Marcus (and others) will know.

I would wait and see the first pics of their A330 to decide.

But be careful...look how long everyone waited for the JC ANZ B787-9 and they released it with sky roofs.

Ha..ha....not quite. I really LOVE the new 787-9s by JC and Gemini. Have 3 now, and 2 more on the way. They are far from "sky roofs".

And we know they make a great 777, so the Turkish, Cathay Pacific and Vietnam models will be awesome!

Certainly hope so....I've got the CX on pre order myself.

But after seeing the pics I am glad I picked up the Phoenix ANZ B787-9 All Black.
