Choosing another photo background would have been a good idea for the all black version? Nice models, as all of the new 787-9 models.

Good cockpit window color, done right!

Thanks for sharing these pics! Currently the best Boeing 787-9 mould for sure! Now... which should I get, the All Black livery, or should I wait for JC Wings to release ANA "R2-D2 jet" and Boeing House Color livery?

Preordered my ANZ a few hours ago from Jetway... I have been waiting for this to come out in 1:200! ZK-NZF was the last 787 I delivered when I worked at the Boeing Everett Delivery Center, so it has a special meaning to me!

Good point you raise Mr Angry. Through out the eighties and ninety's Air New Zealand Teal colours days, the Koru was always displayed in reverse for marketing /advertising I am sure. I have no idea how ANZ does it now. Only you & our Kiwi freind's can confirm this. So you may have a point.
I try not to use stands, but it's part of the package so it should be correct

I always recommend people not to display these expensive models on the stands. You run some risk if you do so, no matter how good the stand is. Therefore, I totally don't care about the stands when I receive my models.

I display all of my A380 models on the stands because I have heard the tires can go flat if they sit too long because of the weight of the model.

I use some other stands too.

Marcus, is there a known issue with rough wing tips on the 787 mould? I have gotten 2 AA 787s from Gemini with a rough spot on the wing tip, one on the right wing and the other on the left wing.

Well all the koru on the boxes are correct so why not the stand. If the model is not displayed on the stand or not I dont think is the issue. It would be like putting and Australian flag on a DC-10 or reversing the red and blue A on American airlines.....

I think it is a very minor and forgivable mistake, as long as all the logos on the models are printed correctly. After all, the stand is an extra thing separated from the model.

In other words, for example, if the logo on the vertical stabilizer is reversed, then it is 100% not acceptable.

Thanks for confirming the Koru direction Mr Angry as I said although I prefer not to use stands I did say they should be correct as they are part of the whole package.

Then Marcus the Koru needs to be amended on the name plates on the stands to

Very nice... the JC/GJ 787-9 is a great mold, look forward to seeing more future releases... a United 789 next from GJ would be sweet to make up for the let down that was the 788 on the Phoenix mold...

The nose radome still litttle smaller than the real thing, they need to enlarge it in next release.

No, you are correct Mr Angry, and these models are still in the factory so there is time for correction on the stands, is that right Hu?

Ok I think I am learning so much thank you so much for your help. If you have any idea of issues like the Koru is incorrect on the stand, which is the point of now you can contribute too speck now or for ever hold your piece. What is trivial anyway. As for mind my own business don't start me

I guess approval to release the new Air New Zealand 787-9's with the incorrect Koru on all these 787-9's as is he is on topic He told me to mind my own business no complaints so far and this is what you are going to get now.

If there are two versions of Vietnam A350, one with flaps down, which one you will pick?

Are Gemini doing both flaps up and flaps down versions like Inflight are doing?
I've seen a flaps down version of a Inflight A350 and it looks very good.

I agree with you that the logo on the stand is really a trivial thing, given that the models are so well done. I think it is more meaningful discussing other things such as the big difference between the Phoenix version and the JC version(especially the cockpit windows) :

By the way, I always think Phoenix's 1:200 models are too shiny. This problem is even more obvious under natural light.

Ok, i will clear things up. I told steve to mind his own business dew to his sarcastic remarks about my Vietnam A350 question. This is why i told him to grow up and stop being so trivial about being "OFF TOPIC" NOT his comments about the stand having the logo the wrong way round, he and anyone else are all entitled to their own opinions on matters like that. I do think some things are a bit trivial and knit picky on here, as i've said before they are models and will probbly never be perfect. Being "ON TOPIC" for a second I personally disply my models on the stands so not sure if the logo the wrong way round would bother me, probably not though the stands are one of the things i like about JC Wings. I hope this has cleared things up, thank you and good night! Well morning here lol.

I really like the cockpit windows and wings better on the JC Wings version when compared to the Phoenix.

I've seen a flaps down version of a Inflight A350 and it looks very good.
Very low tech when compare with JC version...not the same level.

I don't think flaps down versions are coming. Haven't heard anything about it always.
