Yes, agreed. This is one of the first places those images should be posted. I don't like futzing around with Facebook.

I refuse to join Facebook as well.

Why not post the photos here so we can all see?

You might also want to check how to spell BUFFALO.

Which diecast FB page are you talking about? I'm admin of the 1/200 diecast and plastic models page and I see nothing there.

Mr. Skyman it's not very difficult to post photos via this website or link to photos being hosted somewhere else. Just takes a couple minutes of study.

Gosh I love Hobby Master's DC-4! Yes they've put out some very very very bad stuff, but their Douglas propliners rock! I've never watched Ice Pilots (it's a reality show and I refuse) but that certainly is a handsome little C-54

I wouldn't doubt it. We have a lot of members here who fall into that category who seem to get a frosty reception at times. A little consideration and courtesy goes a long way, IMPO.

Quite alright - I believe one airline called it "Jet Prop Electra" or something like that. Braniff was "Jet Power Electra"... well anyway I could go on and on.

Yes the DC-3s are VERY nice looking! The Buffalo fleet in 1:200 is becoming more and more interesting which means I'd better come up with more money

Buffalo's Quebec, Mike just touched down in the fading Autumn light. Will try to shoot in the morning mist or sunrise as the case may be.

Super-sharp little model! I knew those would turn out well - I think I need to build a fleet of nothing but Douglas propliners

Looks good Graham...

Begs the question, where did it come from as not yet for sale on the Buffalo web-site and supposedly not expected until Nov/Dec?

The factory sometimes send me a sample because I send them photo and artwork references. My guess is that William wants a good revue so that you'll all be ordering it up from Buffalo PDQ. If I didn't have this one I'd be placing an advance order right now. Someone mentioned a Buffalo Europe outlet ?

Just realised that my number of postings has clocked on to 1650. While at 1649 it was in-keeping with my Starliner avitar!

Thanks for solving that mystery Graham

Any day-time pics of this little beauty?

The model appears on several model retailer web-sites unlike the first Gemini DC-3 which was only available from Buffalo. So wonder how many are to be released and the arrangement for Buffalo/HM distribution.

Last night the DC-4 re-enacted the famous "Dam-Buster" run. Cant remember the pilots name, he sadly since passed away; but he made a 100 point run and nailed the dam with the barrel that was rigged under the DC-4. Buffalo Airways is a fascinating operation flying some of the older recips to be found anywhere today. Would love to visit them someday.

PS: They were very helpful in sending me close-up photos of their Electra so I could detail my sketch...one of which will go to them!

That would have been Arnie Schreder, never met him personally but know a few who have, a Pilot & a Gentleman. We have not had series 3 in the UK yet! Guess I`ll buy it on DVD from Omni when it`s released. I got the DC-4 on order from a good friend, can`t wait till she arrives! Besides, will look great next to the Dak!
