Concorde, I found it in a store in Europe, price 63 €. I did not think 2 times and decided to buy. I hope you did not pay too much.








SIA A380 I love it.








SWISS, Every time I like less Herpa models. The engines are not the best.
The landing gear is crap, of course, I've changed by Hogan.

The Hogan Concorde's really are nice, made of diecast metal, not plastic. I've got Alpha Alpha which has the red tail and Alpha Echo in Landor colors. I'm still looking for Alpha Delta which in the same color scheme as your Alpha Alpha. I also have 2 Air France Concordes. Which store in Europe did you get your Concorde from. I got the 2 Air France models from Robert at Flight Memory in Germany.
The Thai A340 looks great, saw one at Sydney Airport last year along with a Singapore A380. I tracked down a Model A380 but I am still looking for A 1:200 Thai A340.

Great arrivals. Does anyone have a DEFINITIVE list of which Hogan BA Concordes came in which registrations? I am not sure the DB is complete.

BOAE Landor
BOAC Union Flag
BOAG Union Flag

There is a (damaged) BOAF Union Flag on eBay right now.

Yeah, it started at GBP 0.99 3 days ago and then boom, it went up to GBP 62.00 With 4 days left to bid, I will not be surprise if it breach the GBP 80-90 mark considering how rare this model can get

Anyway, those are some fantastic acquisition, QatarA340-600! 3 (the BA, SQ and TG) out of 4 models that you have acquired have been on my wishlist for yonks! Congratulations!

Not sure damaged is the correct term. I do state faults unlike the seller I bought it from a few years back. It still displays very nicely.
My British Airways RED tail has small areas touched in red on the tail and this came new direct from major retailer (in fact that was the best of three they had at that time.) The QC on the hogan concordes is patchy imho.

I have one in each scheme as have given up trying to get each example made, hence the disposal of 2.

and no I will not let the others go.

The Hogan model of the Concorde is good BUT the cockpit windows (too far back, not slanted downwards) and the positioning of the forward strakes too far forward, too big) put me off! Also antennae would be good! I'ts a great pity these faults cannot be corrected.

....ah....twas you that bought that Thai A346 frm Germany!!! ...thats if it was the one on that ebay.de for 220 ..... i was after that but got its big sister, the Herpa 1:200 Thai B744 instead ... but im still looking for a Herpa 1:200 Thai A346 along with the rest of the gang .....

That BA Concorde was a real find, and not a bad price, either, considering how rare it is to find one. I'll never part with mine, unless some other manufacturer ever decides to make a better one.
