Woooohooo!!!

Hope they do all those latinamerican models. I've been waiting to those Aeromexico to complete my Hogan fleet, maybe they are forgetting the B737-800w but anyway we must have a confirmation from someone here.

Talking about the Lufthansa Md-11F 100 years, is it available now? Who has it?

Are new (Hogan) models usually available earlier in China than in Europe or the US? Because I can remember that the 787-9 Qantas was available a few weeks earlier in China..

What I can spect from them, no aerials and wing flex. Just like they did with BA World Cargo. You read they are working 2 748F, hope one of them has land configuration.

By the way, how soon would they be available in the market?

2 x Hogan Cargolux 747-8F are flexed wings, but a 747-8 straight wings set will be released as an accessory later in December this year

787 straight wings set will be available sometime in September this year prior to 747-8 wing set

So excited to hear that those two AeroMexico jets are being produced. My SkyTeam 1/200 collection needs AeroMexico but I was NOT going to compromise and go down the SkyMarks path (hahahahaha).

Now all we need from Herpa, Hogan, Gemini 200, Aviation 200 or JC Wings is:

1) Aerolineas Argentinas: Airbus A340-300
2) Air Europa: Airbus A330-200
3) China Eastern: Airbus A340-600 (not going down the SkyMarks way - hahahaha)
4) China Southern Airbus: A380-800 (with the real colours - the Herpa edition is "fantasy" livery)
5) Garuda Indonesia: Boeing 747-400
6) Kenya Airways: Boeing 777-200ER (not going down the SkyMarks way - hahahaha)
7) KLM: Boeing 747-400 (Herpa's version does not have the current livery) (In Flight 200s version is sold out)
8) Korean Air: Airbus A380 (not happening as KE has banned licensing)
9) Xiamen Airlines: Boeing 757-200

... plus the prompt release of Herpa's Delta Boeing 747-400 and In Flight 200's Alitalia B777-200.

If you would like to see some releases that might not make it to the commercial market, try Yahoo japan auction site. They had the latest 747-8 NAC cargo freighter made by Hogan. Once again its one of those dreaded "corporate" releases that only allows a select few to have them. They've also got the Japan Airlines 777-200 1/200 hogan in the old colour scheme. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the 1/200 Hogan ATLAS AIR 747-800 in Australia. All I got to do now is brush up on my Japanese and try and work out how to buy from the site.

There are also a good number of Hogan ANA models on the site...if you don't mind paying some fairly high prices for them...

Some updates for the models on the list:

The 787 AeroMexico is not for the market yet, it is for the airline (I contacted Limox about this model).

The 787 LAN is available.

Avianca 787, LAN 767, LH A380 and A319 are now all expected at the end of September.

Saw them too this morning, but I don't like them. The KLM livery doesn't fit those planes. And the cockpit windows of the 787 look very weird. Saw this video of the new HG 787 JAL and it looks like HG changed the windows but unfortunately made it even worse..

Hogan was having some issues with the Swiss license so the A340 cannot be guaranteed. I'm still awaiting the KLM 744 on the new mold.

mmm not bad. but at Ł65 cost that is a lot!! and neither has landing gear. they are releasing a megamodel 787 for a quarter of the price. i am no expert, but it looks ok by comparison. cockpit windows are bigger.

The megamodels 787 definitely looks better. I'm not sure about the A350 though..

Another thing about Hogan's 787 besides the weird cockpit windows are the wings. They did the longer wingspan while Boeing clearly said that they will use 787-8's wings on the 787-9.

Gentlemen, don't forget, you get what you pay for. Personally, the megamodels are cheap for a reason. Looking at the megamodels engines and graphics really emphasize why you pay the extra for the hogan models. I own a Strategic A330 megamodel and I have placed it on the bottom shelf. Like I've said in the past, if you like it, buy it.

The MD-11's were Swissair not Swiss. The KLM 744 is in the current livery. A sample was made using the old mold which you can see here:

Thanks, I will consider this vs. the SkyMarks version and will keep the Herpa non-premium model on my want list.

Oh man!!!! Is it just a sample model? Does Hogan have the intention to make it anytime soon?

I want this plane to complete my European 747 fleet.

Yes, that is a sample model done on the old Hogan mould. Moin will correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume if Hogan releases a KLM B744 the new mould with revised nose will be used.

The SkyMarks version isn't too bad. The landing gear doors need to be painted and the landing gear isn't as nice as Hogan. But a pretty nice model overall. And certainly less expensive to acquire than the IF200 version.

Wow! That looks great! Where did you find that sample and when was it made, Moin? I'd definitely pick one up to go with my IF200 KLM B747. I think it would look even better on the new HG 747-400 mould. Although I'd also like HG to do a KLM MD-11, which I think Big Mouse mentioned earlier this year. Any MD-11 samples?

The last update was that the KLM 744 you see above went to the airline for 'approval' and I neglected to follow it up but I will now. I too would love to see it released on the new revised 744 mold.

The 787 should become a really popular release. The A350 on the other hand.....makes me spew (both hogan and mega models).

Several of the Lufthansa models are released by Limox, a German company selling aviation-related stuff such as models, paper clips, watches and things like these. Concerning the scale models, Limox has been granted a licence by Lufthansa (and others, such as Air Berlin and Condor) to sell them as officially licensed products. Limox itself does not produce the models, they are just selling stuff like this. So, they are contracting scale model manufacturers for "their" releases. Normally, they are selling types of aircraft that have been made in the colours of the airline in question before, such as all of the Lufthansa 1/200 models by Hogan. In opposite to Hogan standard, Limox normally orders the models without gear (in most of the cases).

Good to hear about the KLM 747-400! I think you mentioned the possibility of a KLM MD-11 earlier this year, any news on that?
