Does an Inflight 200 Qantas 747 All Red exist?

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this question. I saw on the model database that there is an Inflight 200 Qantas 747-438 All Red (or is it referred to as Big Red) but there was no IF part number. I can't seem to find it online either. Wondered if any of you knew if it does exist?

yes it DOES exist. i have seen them. released about 12-24 months ago. not sure why no IF part number though.

But I don't see it on the InFlight website as part of their lineup either. Weird. Would you be able to find me a link online to any store or person who has one? I just want to see it. I guess my googling skills are poor cuz I cant find it online.

not sure why its not on inflight website. you will not find it in any store i believe. they all sold out. i am there are several aussie collectors who have this. so hopefully they can post a pic or two. there is a pic on this site.

Yes It did. I am told Inflight200 got as far as producing 99 models (and one finished sample sent to qantas for approval) were in production of Wanala Dreaming (2) VH-OEJ and VH-OJC also on the packing box was to be released QF F1 VH-OJC 747-400 '' City of Melbourne'' I am told both were denied due to Qantas licence agreements had terminated with both aircrafts liveries. Can everyone please note that Inlight introduced "no step" markinings on the wings and also my model is most likely an over spray of white F1 if you look closely to the front gear.

Thanks for all info! That was really great information. I love the All Red 747! Would you know if anyone around there in Australia is selling one? I lived in Brisbane a bit so I have a bias for the Qantas 747 and the All Red is my favorite. In case you know of any available units, I would greatly appreciate any tips. Thanks bud!

Seems like everyone here is so knowledgeable about this hobby. It's great to be a part of this forum as I am learning from scratch about everything and every story behind each plane. I have another question in case anyone knows the answer to this. Why doesnt InFlight or Gemini make Cathay pacific planes with the newer color scheme in 1:200? I've seen Gemini planes in 1:400 using the newer Cathay designs, but nothing in 200 and nothing from InFlight.

The All Red is not an offical release from IF200. It's from JC with IF200 mold. There was a IF200 B747-400 Qantas F1 VH-OJC.

If this is the case Raymond, how many did you sell and when did you have them in stock ? No such examples has ever appeared on ebay, there is no model listed on the data base here of a JC wings QF747-400 F1 and no models ever made if to Collectors Aircraft models Australia if fact this is the very first time I have seen this example. Never seen JC wings put rotating becons lights on top of models like Inflight do either. They normaly just paint them on. I have the Rise soon model, and was told by CAM Australia that permisson was not granted to do Wanala Dreaming II VH-OEJ and the F1. That said, JC wings still produce unlicenced models anyhow I know. So Why didn't they do Wanala Dreaming then if they did in fact produced this F1 and just released the All red delivery colours from Boeing on VH-OEJ ? It is a nice model none the less Raymond. Thanks for posting pics. If it existed I want one ! I believe you have yourself one very very rare Inflight200 sample congratulations!
Also I noted your model does not have the Qantas logo on the rear of the engines. Please also refer to this thread post number 4 by QF707 Click here Calling JC wings/BBox/Jet-X and all others

Just to get it right JC did make the Qantas All Red. JC didn't make the Qantas F1.

you can always get al king aka stang82211 to do you a custom. he hs done both first and second liveries.

Not that I know of. This link is off qantas.com It's VH-OJS with decals being applied that I have posted before.
