I just wanted to know which is the best retailer for buying the old LH models for cheap. I know that you can pick them up on ebay but I just thought that there could be someone/somewhere who specialise in these models,

You won't find them any cheaper then if you go directly to Herpa Premium prices at dealers because they don't exist.

Go to ebay and search for: dieter4
OR Send him an email, I think it is: KDM@Aircraftmodels.de His name is Dieter, get in touch with him and you might get what you want. Good luck E |

Thanks guys,
But I have already tried thoses places, I didn't realise that theses models are going to cost an arm and a leg. I'm sure that if I keep searching that i'll get the ones which I'm looking for, Ashley |

The alternatives mentioned here are reliable vendors, but if you thought you might be able to get these models at heavily discounted prices, that is going to be hard!
These original Herpa Premiums are expensive, there is no way around that. The NP models for a LOT less money are VERY VERY nice. I heard someone say here that the NP models are 80% of the premium model for 20% of the price. i would basically agree with that statement. So think about concentrating on the NP models. They have started to trickle in at a nice pace. There is even a LH n/c 737. Who knows maybe someday they will release some of these in the old LH colors.... Eduardo |

I got my first Premium, the PanAm 727, and these are amazing. While I have not seen such detail, the $200+ price is keeping my buying habits in check. I do not think they want retailers to sell these so they have you go to their website.

Not meaning to gloat (much!) but I have the complete LH Modell Edition, and very fine it is too. Also have Premium series 1, about to start gathering series 2...these models are an obsession!

I know what you mean. I think that these models are the best money can buy. I first started with Herpa wings then move on to Gemini Jets. Now, I have reached my peak with these models. The quality alone are just breath taking.
