Default The return of SAC

In a way. Presenting the first of three C-17s for NATO, the first being financed by the United States Air Force. It will be operated by a joint consortium of nations known as the Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC), based out of Papa Air Base in Hungary.

Why couldn't they have had the 'C' as Command and resurrected a B36 or two also??

YouTube - Now that's a BOMBER!

Because it would be the SMART thing to do!

"Capability" seems so weak and out of place next to "Strategic Airlift"....Strategic Airlift Command sounds a lot better than Strategic Airlift Capability.

Weird that it doesn't say NATO on the plane. The NATO AWACS do.
