Default Red Flag crash...long summer for USAF

Another sad story as a F-15 went down during Red Flag. This has been a very long and hard summer for the Air Force.

Yeah, it was a shame to hear that. I was flying the very next day when this happened, and my heart sank. In Mountain Home AFB, no one really talked much about it because there wasn't much to talk about. It was a tragedy and sucked big time, but the show must go on. It's an inherent risk that they all face every day, and you just push it aside and go on. I had my one close call during my F-15E ride, but I'm still going to go back up if ever I get the chance.
