Nice shots Tup, nothing beats a fighter flying overhead with full afterburner. That is unless 7 jets are flying over head with full afterburner.

The DHL 767 made a nice umbrella from the sun for many in attendance. The favorite for my friends and I at the show believe it or not was the C-17. After an amazing demo from the F-22, the AF boys performed a demo with the C-17. Watching a plane the size of the C-17 doing many of the same maneuvers as the F-22 was amazing to watch. The C-17 did a low and slow pass at 85 MPH over the runway in front of us, I could not believe a plane that size did not stall. The demo ended with a short 1500 foot landing. The C-17 not only came to a full stop in 1500 feet, but after stopping, they taxied the C-17 in reverse back to almost the spot the plane touched down, lowered the rear cargo door and drove out three Humvees.

Why does everyone else's air show look so much better than the Barksdale shows? Tupi, you must have been in heaven there...nice comfortable temps and shade under a wing, watching those awesome planes. Seeing the C-17 do those maneuvers would have been worth the entry fee alone. Great shots.
