Default Red Flag anyone?

Found a couple of cool videos on Red Flag. Hope you enjoy them!

Sorry, embedding was disabled by request...I totally lost count on the number of take-offs:
YouTube - Red Flag players leave Nellis AFB 01/21/2006 - 02/18/2006

Wow, nice video. I was fortunate to spend 3 days out at Nellis back in '94 taking photos. Talk about a crowded flight line. Planes planes planes. I was even allowed access to an active runway and got some nice shots. Ha, even won some money at Vegas. That was my first of 3 visits to Nellis to do photo work. Sorry to say that access at end of runway out in dessert has been made off limits. Those were the days!

How about sharing some of those pics, if they are not classified?

I will be more than happy to share '95 Red Flag pics. Give me a few days to sort and scan and I will upload them.

I know you're not based there but were you ever assigned to service the KC-135s at Nellis AFB for Red Flag? They must have (need) many ground support crews there during Red Flag, with so many AFs from other countries participating.

Funny you ask. The planes from my unit are there as we speak. I decided not to go so that I could finish my last college class, otherwise I would be there. I would love to go but I have to get this last class done. KC-135's are used quite a bit there because of the enormous numbers of planes participating. It is a full blown mock airwar with every type of scenario imaginable that involves air power.

The footage is from the movie "Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag". It was shown in the IMAX at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.
I bought the DVD when I was at the museum back in July.
