-blueangle, here are some more I found. the one is probably my favorite its a shot of lead over Mt Rainier. The second is just looking at 1-4, redundancy is nice.

Awesome indeed! Thanks! I can't seem to take my eyes off the sleek F-111 in the background of the 1st pic. BTW, is that Nellis AFB in the 3rd pic where the F-22 took off?

That second pic reminds me of one of the coolest avation experiences of my life. I was tooling around in a 172 at 55 mph at night in san antonio. When ATC tells me to be aware of trafic taking off from lackland. So right in front of me while at 4,000' a three ship of F-16's take off with afterburner and vanish in the night. reall cool and so impresive considering how fast i was puttering around.

F-111s are the cats ***...but I have a bad taste in my mouth from Tornados.
I used to help the Brits with their broken thrust reversers while in Saudi Arabia in the mid 90s...but I got a hell of a lot of free beer for doing that....so I guess the Tornado is alright

Its a real shame that the US tried to create a do everything fighter/bomber with the F-111. If they would have focused a little more on one or two roles she could have been really special. Interceptor/Bomber/Jammer/Nuke/Carrier, thats a lot of roles for one jet. Although the carrier thing never did come full circle.

The F-111 was a remarkable aircraft...but very hard to maintain.
I was given the opportunity to help change out the left wing on an EF-111A for its last operational mission into Iraq from Saudi Arabia in the 1990s. Me being used to the simplicity of the C-130 the F-111 blew my mind. A truly remarkable airplane. Shame the mission has since gone to the EA-6B.

Way to go, Sagar! Thank you heaps! I was staring at the pics for a good 10 minutes...just love the long slender nose, swing wing design, side-by-side pilot seating, the quadrant intake and the large tail! It's a shame they are no longer in service!

Oh no, NONE of your pics are ever boring! Just keep 'em coming...anything at all!!!

But since I've been spoilt with pics of a swing-wing aircraft, how about the BONE or Tomcat? Thanks in advance!

I think my favorite is #4. Great balance between the lights and darks. I am not sure if you are asking for feedback or not, so if you would like constructive criticism, then let us know. I know I am always looking for it on mine, so feel free to offer me any tips.

Well, you know we have a C-17 pilot in the making amongst our group. Can't get a better chance then through him.
