Thumbs up Avro Vulcan XH558 to fly again!

Hello all!
...After years of fund raising, the target has been hit!
Funds have now been secured to continue the restoration to flight of Avro Vulcan XH558,with a first flight during the first-second quarter of 2007.
I have not seen a Vulcan fly,but my husband has and from what he has told me of the aircraft and the display it gives i`m sure not to be dissapointed!

The Vulcan is a great looking aircraft, also known as the aluminum overcast.

Good luck with getting XH558 off the ground!

Having the Vulcan fly again would be a fantastic sight. I was at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana back in the late '80s when the Vulcan on display here flew in, and it was heartbreaking to know that beautiful aircraft would never fly again. I have always felt it was the best-looking bomber ever to grace the sky, even prettier than the B-58 or the XB-70. I look forward to seeing it appear in flight again. Way to go, Brits!

The Valkyrie is an awesome aircraft! Visit the museum when you are in the US. It's the only XB-70 in the world!

Fact Sheets : North American XB-70 Valkyrie : North American XB-70 Valkyrie
