Default 40th Airlift Squadron ops (from Germany..to the Americas..to Afghanistan)

Here is what I feel is the biggest rush!! this is packed hard..but we land on loose dirt too...This was down at Howard AB in Panama.... This type of op is rough on the plane..on the aircrew and on the brain..you would not believe how many calculations I have to do before we do this type of TO/Landing

Damn dude! looks like you have had an interesting time of it recently. From Deserts, to artic conditions to the panamaian jungle. Makes my job on submarines look boring. Nice pics

DeltaFlot...not all of the pics are recient..the snow ones were taken in 1999...

and this pic is not from our squadron at all...but it is just to show you how dangerous it is to land on LZs

You guys are absolutely #1 in my book. I know for a lot of you it's just a job but for myself and a lot of people I know, you and your fellow servicemen and women are the warriors of this world and worthy of so much more appreciation than you get.
