OK, I'll bite... (Attended George T. Baker Aviation School in Miami, Florida back in high school, though I never got around to being licensed as an A&P mechanic.)

1) What is an MFD?

Multi-Function Display, common in 'glass cockpits'.

2) What is an LRU?

Line Replaceable Unit - equipment that can be replaced on the line without requiring significant downtime for an overhaul.

3) What is a CSD

Constant Speed D Drive

4) What is ZYGLO and what is it used for

Zyglo is a fluid that glows under ultraviolet light and is primarily used for NDT (non-destructive testing) of aircraft parts to detect cracks or imperfections not othervise visible to the naked eye.

5) What is the common name for MIL-H-8446 hydraulic fluid

Skydrol

6) What color is MIL-H-5606 hydraulic fluid

Red

7) What kind of hydraulic fluid is no longer used

Wild-a** guess - mineral oil? (been too long for me!)

8) What is FADEC, and where would you find it

Full Authority Digital Engine Control - on the powerplant, though I'm presuming any LRUs are easily accessible.

Well, how'd I do?

well, you got 7 out of 8

The one you missed was #7

mineral based hydraulic fluid would be the red 5606 fluid. The fluid no longer used is vegetable based which is dyed blue/green in color.

Well Done!!!!!
