Default DAC Spotting trip?

With the weather is getting better and days are getting longer I started thinking, "Why not do a 400SH spotting tirp?" We've all gotten together for diecast, why not for 1:1?

NYC, LAX, SFO, MIA? Bring your gear for a weekend hang with forum friends and lots of laughs.

Airport and date TBD? Any thoughts?

Well, it'd be great to get together, but we tried this before and it flopped. I'd be happy to go assuming that its not withing the next two months, I have final examinations and won't be going anywhere interesting.

Crap. Did I really just do that? I haven't been over there in about a year but just answered an email from and old 400SH friend before I posted this thread.

A million apologies

heh, no worries Koz Kozke. Just glad the mystery has been solved

Anyways, I think we tried to do this in the past and it was a flub, as the large percentage of people who said they would actually attend lived all across the states from each other. Im game (lets all come to DAL!!! lol, no takers )

I'm in for a So Cal spotting meet. Anyone interested in going to Victorville? Boeing 787 and 748 are both testing there.

I would be down for a LAX meet. It's just a short drive from Vegas..

LAX/SoCal seems to be the most easily accessible for most of the people here, it's a short flight for most, and connects to most any city across the country. A plethora of opportunities exist, but this could take months to plan. I am game for something that would be around 6 months out, just to keep airfares reasonable.

I will be in LA a little later this Summer, so I might be able to do something around then. I could also do JFK easily, its only a 3 and a half hour drive.

I've got a ticket that I need to book by May 15 and a hall pass from my wife. I'm good to go. I'd love to do LAX.

JFK, although interesting, does not have service from WN. Yes, there are other options, but I think LAX is a more likely candidate simply because it has WN, however, I would be game for a trip to New York as long as the tickets aren't exorbitant and the dates work out. Currently showing around $400 for a RT weekend in September.
