Love it.

Got a question for ya..hope you might have an answer for me. I remember the commentators saying during the Spain-Russia game that yellow is an unlucky color in the Spanish culture. Well if it is unlucky, then why were their jerseys yellow and why is there yellow in the national flag?

Thanks..yeah I did but it came back Rejected, Rejected, Rejected, Rejected, Rejected, Rejected, and.....you guessed it, Rejected!

I spent hours re-editing those photos and got back different reasons than the first go-around. But I keep using those reasons to fix the photo, reupload, and wait a few days to hear whether or not its been accepted to the great universe of Jetphotos.net

I wonder how much time each screener actually puts on a photo...I guess its no more than a few minutes since they have thousands of photos to look at?

Just a reminder..the EURO 2008 Final will be on at 2:30 Eastern on ABC for the American viewers...sorry but I don't know the internationals. At 12, leading up to the Final, will be Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy vs DC United on ABC also. Looks like it's going to be a soccer (futbol) loaded Sunday!

Thats too bad. Spain must be paying a premium to those referees for to not call any fouls on the Spain team...

I think they could've used a better ref. Not doing anything when Lahm was pulled back and literarly thrown to the ground IN FRONT OF THE REF outside the penalty box is bullsh1t. And the ref keeping Ballack off the pitch becuase of some dried blood? Give me a break! Ballack should off knocked Pujols lights out with that tackle he did...no excuse for that.

But congrats to Spain.

Thanks Billy...I have an AirTran shot that is just like that Southwest shot in the lineup right now...has about 760 photos infront of it!

BTW...I like your closeups better, you can see more action and detail in them.

If it asks you to preserve the JPG artefacts, say no, then compress as usual (compress to the maximum, its twelve on mine). Just make sure of that.

Neither, IMHO.

Stick 'em on flickr ... where the whole world can see ... and you WON'T be judged by screeners or anyone else ... Flickrusers are a very appreciative bunch, and although you won't get the hardcore enthusiast type, you won't have to worry about being "rejected", etc.

Another benefit is that if they are good enough, GettyImages might offer to buy your images for use on their site. It's a new agreement that they are working out.

Just food for thought.

Great photo set. Really like the MD-12 concept. Much prettier than the bulbus A380.

Well, if you want your pics hosted on an aviation website, then Jetphotos.net would be the way to go, IMHO. Airliners.net seems to be a little too strict for my taste and takes forever to screen photos. JP.net usually takes around 4-5 days for screening.

But my mom told me today (she works for the Orlando Sentinel) that alot of companies and newspapers are turning to flickr as a source of photos for articles, stories, etc. I'm considering uploading to there now and try to get my photos on a bigger stage. I've already had one photo of an AirTran 717 that was used in an aviation article by an online newsource...pretty cool!

Well, I managed to get some unusual pics when I was away, and all with pretty small planes too.

Hmmm, all very interesting, I'll see.
