The comments on You tube indicate that the Iberia A346 had taxied onto the runway, hence the go around. However see around 2:55 it is still on the taxiway and not the runway, must have been another reason.

However this approach on 13L is so much more better than the approach on 04L

Wow, what an exciting way to end a trip. That is unfortunate that it took you half an hour to land again.

Yes you are right about the second Iberia A340. However that one too is not on the runway, check the video around 3:20 . So it brings us back to why the go around

Go arounds are quite normal although I can't understand why the ATC waits until almost the last moment to inform the incoming a/c. They're the ones who obviously gave prior permission to the departing a/c to takeoff, so why wait till the last min to tell the incoming a/c that he must go around?

The IB A346 wasn't exactly on the runway, it was on the taxiway near the runway threshold so why the IB couldn't be put on hold till the LH 744 landed is beyond me as the LH was all but on the runway when it was told to go around.

Why do you think? The guy is only telling us what the LH pilot told the pax. There are only two reasons the plane went around: Tower told 'em to, or the pilot decided to. Either way, there was a saftey concern. Does this end the great mystery for you?

The reason it aborted the landing is that there was something on the runway, probably crossing from the right side of the plane to the other side of the runway, hence the reason the passenger doesn't see the aircraft while it makes the "fly over". One wouldn't know the exact reason, unless there was a passenger, sitting on the other side, posted a video from the left side.

Shall we move on with our lives now ? lol

Exactly and not the reason for the Iberia A340s as suggested!
