Red face For the last time (I promise)

I was FINALLY able to get the Herpa Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 D-ABVZ "Niedersachsen".

I already had the Skymarks Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 D-ABTA "Sachsen".

Very briefly I flew on D-ABVZ from Frankfurt to Dubai

Toronto to Dubai

Herpa Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 D-ABVZ 'Neidersachsen"

Herpa Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 D-ABVZ 'Neidersachsen"

And I flew on D-ABTA from Dubai to Frankfurt

Boeing 747-<br />
400 (D-ABTA) to Frankfurt from Dubai

Skymarks Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 D-ABTA 'Sachsen"

Thank you for your patience with this! And thanks to the person here for letting me know about the D-ABVZ!

Yeah beautiful large pics, doesn't the nosew of the Hogan look a little deformed somehow?

This is exactly what Moin and I have been trying to point out about the Hogan noses . The Hogan otherwise are amazing models!!

Thanks for all the comments about the large pics! It's a wonderful feeling to know that the two LH 744 flights I took, actually have models designed after them...okay, okay I promise I said it would be the last time...hee,hee!

Ah the infamous HG 747 nose. Its even spread to their 1:400 models. Its unfortunate that they erred on the most critical part of the a/c. The nose. otherwise the models are gorgeous. The nose area of an a/c is almost like the face of a person. Its that which stands out most prominently and getting that area wrong can pretty much put a damper on the rest of the model, even though everything else is almost perfect.

Imagine Cleopatra's nose being just 1 centimeter longer or wider. History would have been different.

Those dimension increases with certain areas of Mark Antony's anatomy could have also caused History to be different
