Oh it was 5 hours of glorious much awaited fun. One disappointment on my way back home I left Rwy 23 to go to Rwy 24L/R (for a bit) and when I got there, in the distance heading to Rwy 23 was the Cathay Boeing 777-300ER...Aaagh! I missed it by 10-15 minutes...That would have been a glorious way to end the day!!

Murphy's Law, eh? re: 23 & 24. The same thing happens all the time with 5 & 6 as well - never fails, one is parked on Director Gate (runway 5) and something awesome goes in on runway 6 (Luke Road) and vice versa. Other days at YYZ, the active runway is changed constantly and one spends a lot of time driving around trying to catch everything!

btw - nice pix. I particularily enjoyed the photos of Skyservice and PIA.

Driving around...not with me...totally dependant on transit to get me around...so when I get to Rwy 23 I just cross my fingers and hope the pattern does not change.

Thanks for the comments! Never spotted at 5 or 6...maybe when a car is available.

Let me know when you're available for spotting and what your schedule is like. Mark & I will take you to the Infield area (33L/R). If you've never been there before, one can get SO close to the planes!!!!!
